. One way to get started on the right foot is to locate people with problems or passions. If others can make money online, you should be learning from them. Even as I type this, tons of sales are going online, with people earning commissions on these sales, usually.
A good way to stay focused is to sign up at a webmaster forum such as digitalpoint, sitepoint, and my recent favorite, BlackHatWorld. These communities are awesome, and some real golden advice. However, be wary of forums. Some people have no idea what they are talking about an could end up steering you the wrong way.
Another benefit of these webmaster forums are potential money making opportunities if you can offer your services, such as web design, article creation, and much more.
